There is a problem with a lot of websites today, in that the internal page content you have is not that ‘unique.’ Yes of course every page has unique information on it, and if you have a diving related website then of course “…there’s a huge difference between the Open Water Diver and the Advanced Open Water Diver…its 12 meters deeper for a start!”
The subject matter though could be more appealing to the reader and the search engine. What they both look for is a difference. For the reader it’s simply something more personal than the average “On Day 1 you will learn to…” and this also applies for a search engine. Here is a prime examples on how you should start your content:
PADI Open Water Diver
“I remember the first time I dived out at sea in Rocky Bay; we were very excited after spending 2 days in the swimming pool. As we descended a shoal of bream followed us to the bottom, I had never seen anything like it in my life, and there must have been at least 100 fish that seemed just as curious as us. You can now see what unique content is. It not only introduces the customer to what to prepare for, it also is stuffed full of keywords that search engines look for. It no longer is a cold page, it has come alive and drawn the reader in. This will also help with search engines curiosity too. The more visits your website gets, the more you will be pushed nearer to page 1 on the search engines. Even if the informations is not completely 'standard' this will work, look at Wikipedia.
