The text editor in the CMS has some very useful features that make creating content the way you want much easier. The following links provide help for using the text editor.
Tips
-
Always use the Show Blocks option. It makes understanding how your text is structure much easier. All the lines and sentences in each block are treated as a single paragraph and share common formatting. Press [Shift]+[Enter] for a new block and simply pressing [Enter] creates a new line in the same block.
-
Click Maximise to increase the size of the text editor window to make editing easier.
-
Use the Paste as Plain text button so you don't have to copy/paste into a plain text editor before you paste into the CMS.
-
If you want to make changes to the text that cannot be done using the options in the toolbar make changes directly to underlying the HTML code by clicking the Source button.
-
An additional button that does not appear in the user guide is the Download Link button. This allows you to quick insert a link for one of your downloads.
