People are your contacts. They might be Staff, Customers, Suppliers, etc... People can be added manually and are added automatically when somebody makes an Enquiry via the Enquiry form on your website. When people are created automatically they will be added to the Default Group
To add new or edit existing People
Select Customers, People and New Fill out the form with the contacts details. Most fields are self explanatory such as name, address, Etc... Not all fields are compulsory

Image - You can add a photo of a contact to represent them in the CMS

Publish To Staff - This option is available for customers who have requested a 'staff page' feature

Newsletter Opt In - Allows easy selection of all contacts that have chosen to subscribe to your newsletter when creating a distribution list (mailing list)

Comments - For your own internal use
All other fields are self-explanitory and wont be applicable for all contacts.
Click Save when the record is completeIt is possible to import contact information instead of having to enter each contact manually. Please provide a minimum of:

To help with the creation of an import file here are a selection of templates;
Contact Template (MS Excel 97-2003) and earlier versions
Contact Template (Comma delimited) To get your contacts imported, fill either of the templates with your contacts and e-mail it to support@hammerheadtechnologies.com.
Once you've added People, you can then send a newsletter. Publishing a newsletter contains instructions on sending newsletters.
