Creating and editing a Homepage

Although your website might be pre-populated with many items when you receive it, it will still need many things adding to give it the functionality, look and feel that you desire. At first it may seem a bit daunting having to create your very own website, but all of our customers agree on one thing – It is a lot easier once you take the first step. And that is probably going to be by editing the Homepage

  • Go to Website & Pages, locate the Home icon and Open
  • To Update the pre-installed page, click Edit

You can now add content, edit the text, change the photos etc..
If you are copying text from another program and pasting into the CMS be aware that you might be carrying with it lots of undesired formatting.
You can get rid of this by using the Paste function 'button' in the CMS text editor, or by first pasting into Notepad (PC) or TextEdit (MAC). Then copy/paste from there to the CMS

You might prefer to design a custom page instead. Please read the Custom Layout Editor article for directions

Widgets

Your website may be pre-populated with Widgets, located in the Widgets Album
Please read the Make Widgets article for guidance in adding them to a page and creating new widgets
