If you want to create your own page, rather than using one of the templates offered in the CMS, all you have to do is navigate to the root container where you wish to create your page and click on the left NEW button.
The Hammerhead Custom Layout Editor lets you design custom page layouts very simply. You can really make your website look original and exciting with a little effort. You will have the option to stack SINGLE, DOUBLE or TRIPLE columns, as seen to the left of the example below. You can use multiples of these in any order. Simply click on the preferred Columns and they will load into the Layout space in the middle of the screen. Below I have chosen 2 single columns and 1 double column. To define what each section will be used for, select an icon on the right and simply 'drag &drop' it into the desired section.
In the example below I have decided I would like a Title, a Subtitle, and some Text placed to the left of a Photo. You can choose any combination and configuration here. See below for an overview of the different media you can choose to populate each section with. If you know how to code in HTML, create a TEXT box and after clicking NEXT you can use the text editor to enter the HTML directly. You can embed pictures and video using HTML also. If want to make a change, just click on the red ‘X’ and the section or item will be removed and you can replace it with another choice. Once you are happy with your configuration, press Next. You are now ready to add content to your custom template.
